Well, I kind of fell off the program with my PCT blog plan. I started backdating my posts, so the published date matches my initial plan, not when I actually published them. I haven't posted one now in I don't know how long. I think I'll need to get injured or very sick to want to sit still long enough to put those all together. Anyways...
I've got some fun stuff coming up. I'm going on a family trip to Great Basin, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Parks later this month. Next month I'm headed out on the Colorado Trail on a thru-bike. There's a backstory there that I might post about, or might include in another post. After that I'm taking an EMT course in Wyoming followed by a big road trip around the northwestern United States. Hopefully I'll have time to post some fun stuff, with my Colorado Trail bike ride being at the top of the list.
Apparently some people have actually been reading the things I've posted! I have 4490 lifetime views on my posts as of this writing. After seeing the way that the PCT post series played out, I think I will try to write fewer posts to cover the same amounts of time. My individual days usually weren't exciting enough, or well documented enough even if they were, to create an engaging story. For my CT trip I will probably take notes and photos and hopefully spend some time writing a few articles within a week or two of the conclusion of my ride.
Lastly, I'd like to thank the great website crazyguyonabike for inspiring me to get back on the blog train. I am planning to use warm showers for a night or two on either end of my ride and somebody on that site had a blog linked to their profile. I digress...
Expect more posts coming in the next four months or so! Thank you to all who have been reading my posts. Please subscribe if you enjoy my writing!
