PCT Day 26 (6/12/22) zero day

The only pure zero day that I took on the South Lake Tahoe to Canada leg of the PCT. A great friend of mine was attending the UC Berkeley forestry camp in Quincy. Finn and I were able to time our arrival on a Saturday night. Our buddy Aidan, who had slowly been gaining on us with the intent of catching up once we were in shape, spent the night on the trail not far from the road crossing.

On Sunday morning we headed up to Bucks Summit to go pick Aidan up. He had just spent the night in the storm that we were happy to be tucked away from in a cabin. We spent the rest of the day hanging out and eating lots of food.

Our residence for two nights
