PCT Day 25 (6/11/22) South Fork Feather River to Bucks Summit

Finn and I got a strong start to the morning and enjoyed the trail immensely. After a quick stop at the Middle Fork of the Feather River for a dip, we decided that we could make it to Quincy that afternoon. We hauled ass and made few stops. Before we knew it, we were at the first access point to Quincy with a ton of daylight left. We cranked out the next handful of miles with ease and made it to Bucks Summit with time to spare. After hitching a ride into town, we made our way to the Feather River Food Co-op, still an all-time favorite grocer of mine. After uniting with our friend and UC Berkeley forestry camp student, Jackie, we headed up to the forestry camp where we enjoyed wood fire heated showers and pizza.
An awesome backcountry bridge

Awesome vistas on the way up to Bucks Summit
